Fine art editorial

An old neoclassical house in the suburbs with marble staircases and art deco iron fences was the perfect place for a wedding styled shoot that stepped out of a fairytale. This was because of the stone walls, and all the lovers they’ve seen elope in Greece, as well as a garden filled with roses and Mediterranean pine trees that hide this lovely estate from the prying eyes. Above all, we loved how secluded and intimate time felt in there because of how calm everything was and how in the middle of the day the birds made us think we’re in a fairytale.

THE CONCEPT

First of all, we didn’t want to disrupt the colors in the mansion, and as a result we designed a fresh palette with lots of creams, peaches, spring yellows and blush that matched perfectly with the feeling we wanted; lots of romance and laid back luxury suitable for a wedding or simply a couple looking to elope in Greece.

THE STATIONARY

Our stationery by Manousenia Design embodied perfectly the simple yet delicate concept. This was because the rough cream paper with torn edges and minimal lettering was perfect for the invitations, the menus, and the love poems. We didn’t want something completely polished, we needed something that whispered young love and excitement.

THE FLORAL DESIGN

The florals were most noteworthy, since they were a work of art. Maria from Fillo Creative Event Design came up with the most amazing flower arrangements inspired by love in spring. We loved the subtle pops of yellow from the ranunculus flowers and the delicate detailing of the anemones. Similarly, the deconstructed ceremony arch created the ideal laid back and romantic element that bound everything together. Just take a look at the bridal bouquet, isn’t it a dream?

THE ART DE LA TABLE

We set up the table using French tulle as a table cloth and blush plates with golden rimming. Furthermore, we used golden flatware and candle holders to match the sneaky ranunculus flowers in the centerpieces. They were perfect! Above all, what we loved the most were the name cards because they were minimal and so, so elegant! Our table setting was complete with mini cakes by Pavlov’S Lab with pops of pink and gold foil! Moreover, the three-tiered cake with sugar flowers made everyone swoon! Beautiful, right?

Similarly to highlight the simple yet luxurious style we designed a beautiful installation. We chose a vintage iron bench decorated with cascading flowers and additionally a crystal chandelier that brought luxury and sophistication to our concept.

What our photographers enjoyed the most and what all the men in the group were excited about, was the vintage navy blue Triumph for the newlyweds. Just imagine them driving away in the sunset in such a cool vehicle!

This wedding inspiration was above all the epitome of romantic elegance; how the perfect garden wedding looks like! Neither flamboyant or extra nor excessive and overbearing; moreover a perfect getaway for a couple looking to elope in Greece. It was delicate and minimal yet feminine and romantic like the perfect love story and consequently the perfect fairytale.
