Marissa’s baby christening

Lefkada is one the most beautiful islands on the Ionian Sea. Above all, the island has an amazing view of the Ionian blue and such a structure that makes every corner breathtaking. Therefore, planning and designing a baby baptism on such a beautiful Island gives endless possibilities and inspiration for something unique and amazing. A destination baby christening in the summertime is always a good idea, especially in Greek islands which bloom under the sun!

BABY CHRISTENING CONCEPT

For Marissa’s special day we wanted a truly elegant style with beautiful details. Therefore, we based our colors around pink, peach and rose gold. The baby Christening was held in the beautiful Metropolitan Church of Lefkada. Moreover, for our floral arrangements, we focused on summer flowers; pink hydrangeas, and delicate roses. They gave the perfect elegant vibe for our decoration.

Summer in Greece is always a little hot. Thus, we decided to create a lemonade stand outside the church. Our team used homemade refreshments and flavored water. Needless to say, our guests loved it and got delightfully refreshed, so they could smile, hug and enjoy themselves for more! We also served rose-flavored loukoumi delights, traditional baby christening treats in Greece!

THE PARTY

The reception that followed the baby christening was held in the Ionian Blue Luxury Hotel, a true gem of the island. For the table centerpieces, we chose light pink and peachy summer flowers. Also, to satisfy the sweet tooth of our guest we created a dessert table with the most elegant desserts! Therefore, we used fresh French macarons, personalized butter cookies, glittering cake pops and what everyone loved – doughnuts! In “White Stories” no baby christening is complete without a magnificent cake. Therefore, we chose the most elegant cake with rose gold details. Our guests were in awe!

To capture all these memories we set up a photo booth with a colorful backdrop. This way, our guests could play trying different poses and fun props. Our  pouches for children kept all our little ones entertained and everyone had a blast!

We loved every second of this beautiful day! Our team enjoyed creating such a lovely event for Marissa and her family! Moreover, all the details were great! Lefkada Island was the ideal area for this destination baby christening. It was a perfect day!
